Community Movement Building Through Music Series 3: Last October I had the chance to talk with Poptimes Magazine community builders Ted Reyes, Sheryl Garcia-Reyes and Brijo Miguel about the the scene they are helping to build, their amazing accomplishments and the future of Poptimes and the whole national scene in general.
Poptimes Magazine and its community has been up and running since 2006… actually, it seem more like a sprint! In just a few years, they have released two major North American music compilations Rock in the Box 1 & 2 with the later including a print zine, three holiday Rock the Yuletide compilations, helped produce a number of other local projects and show and continues to be a force that is helping shape the future for Filipino-American Music.
